Although the style of interview may differ markedly, every interviewer will
have a standard set of questions that they will want to ask candidates

Many of these can be predicted in advance. Here are a few questions that
you might be asked. You would be expected to answer them in full

Think of answers you might give. Then think of other questions you might
get:

• Why do you want this job?
• Why do you think you should get this job?
• What are your strengths and weaknesses?
• Where do you see yourself in three years’ time?
• What do you do in your spare time?
• How much do you know about this job?
• How well do you get on with your present workmates/friends at
school/college or on your training course?
• Can you work under pressure?

The interviewer might also ask how you would handle some imaginary
situations

Afterwards…….

Well, now you wait for the outcome. If you haven't heard within a week or
so, you could contact the firm and ask very tactfully whether a decision has
been made

Let's hope you're lucky and get the job but nearly everyone gets a
disappointment somewhere along the line. Don’t be put off
