TREMENDOUSLY

Some may be extremely casual, others formal but whatever the style of
interview you need to be organised

Getting Yourself Organised

Make quite certain you know:-

• Where the firm is. If you are uncertain, go and look
• Where the interview is to be held (in a large complex it would be
easy to go to the wrong department)
• How you will get to the interview, and how long the journey will
take
• Think about the questions you may like to ask
• Learn as much as you can about the firm and what it does
• In particular, find out everything possible about the type of work for
which you are applying
• Remember everything about yourself following the self appraisal
exercise
• Look at your letter of application or C.V. to
remind yourself of what you wrote

Smarten Up Your Interview Outfit

You don't have to, wear something brand new or
very expensive but make sure you have something
smart and simple

All employers like to think you've made an effort to
look good.

Smartness shows you've taken trouble and that may
give you the edge over the next candidate. Be honest
and ask yourself: If you dressed like this for an
interview would you get the job
