Strands 5 and 6 are tucked and ready to be trimmed.
After you complete a standard Liverpool Wire Splice and bury the heart (not
shown in the illustration), but before you clip the wire ends, choose one of the
six wire ends farthest away from the eye (Strand 6 in the illustration). Tuck the
end under one strand by moving the spike in a U-turn back against the lay. Tuck
the next wire end (Strand 5) under two strands. Continue with the next end,
burying it under three strands.
Cut the ends off and smooth the splice in the usual manner.
