To add a material from the database into the Project, simply Double-Click on the desired material, or right-
click and “Add to Project”. Materials can also be added to the User Bank through this menu.
Materials can be compared in the Moldex3D Material Wizard by adding various materials to the
Comparison List. This can also be done by right-clicking on the desired materials.
This will allow for material data comparison of the different properties. Only three (3) materials may be
compared at the same time.
2.4.3.2 Material property definitions
2.4.3.2.1 Viscosity (Shear Rate vs. Temperature)
Viscosity is the primary property defining the material’s ability to flow. For a simple flow analysis, the
viscosity is the most important property.
