Slipped noose hitch
This temporary attachment has a drawloop to enable quick release from the hitch.
Drape the rope or cord over the hitching rail, then take the working end around the standing part
and back to the front once more (1). Tie an overhand knot (2), but leave a drawloop protruding
and do not pull the end completely through the knot (3). Pull on the loop and the standing end to
tighten (4).
