 TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS

Rosendin is unique among electrical contractors in that we have departments
dedicated to both Research and Development (R&D) and BIM Technology.
Our Research and Development team is led by Bill Mazzetti. It is responsible “Rosendin allows and provides you the
for taking the ideas shared with them by various employees of Rosendin and
helping to turn them into patented realities. Rosendin currently holds over 80 tools and resources to truly own your
 provisional or full patents.
career and make it what you want it to
Our BIM Technology Division is equally innovative. The team of more than 200
modelers, coordinators, and technology developers has been collaborating
with field and office employees for more than ten years to develop tools and be. That ownership makes me feel like
technologies that make projects safer, more efficient and provide for a level
of quality control previously unavailable in the industry. The use of VR and AR my voice, my opinion, and my input truly
technology, drones, laser scanners, and photogrammetry on projects have all
 increased performance on our projects.
                                                    matters.”
LEADERSHIP - Tiffany Abbott, Regional Pursuits Manager

Rosendin is proud to have a leadership team primarily composed of employees
who grew up through the company. More importantly, it is a team that believes
in growing the next generation of leadership from within. Years ago, Lisa Vere,
Vice President, told Tom Sorley, Executive Chairman of the Board, “I want to
work at a place where people actually want to come to work.” His response
was, “Let’s build that!” Within a few years, Lisa was named Director of Training
and Development – a newly formed department to oversee the learning
and development of Rosendin employees. That department developed the
Leadership Academy program. The program is designed to build Rosendin’s
senior leadership pipeline and is comprised of senior managers, field leaders,
and department leads who spend more time managing people and teams than
tasks. The high demand for Leadership Academy created an opportunity for
the Training Team to develop the Emerging Leaders Program that serves as a
pipeline for future Leadership Academy participants. The Training Department
has also developed the Surge Program, designed to build Project Assistants
and Assistant Project Managers into leaders. The active development of existing
and future leaders is a priority at Rosendin.
