In November, during a raid at a house at Jalan Taman Da Sing 7, the Miri Police rescued eight
Indonesian women, believed to be the victims of human trafficking.

Preliminary investigations showed that the women aged between 30 and 58 were exploited by
their employers, who had made them work as domestic helpers for two to five years without
              paying wages to them.
