Retention of Records

               Procedure:

               No material which qualifies as a record or document may be destroyed without the prior approval of the
               Department of Education.

                   1.  All requests for document disposal or questions regarding disposal must be submitted to the
                       Business Administrator.

                   2.  After approval by the auditor, the Business Administrator will forward all requests to the State for
                       approval.

                   3.  Records or documents may not be destroyed until after approval by the State has been received.
