6. General conditions for performance evaluation:

6.1 The equipment shall be installed by supplier as per the specifications
agreed and operated by buyer, whose personnel will be trained for

operation of the plant by supplier.

6.2.1 The performance trial shall be conducted for a total period of 72 hours,

from which the results of continuous 24 hours period during, which

the plant is in steady state condition will be considered for
performance review.

6.2.2 Prior to the commencement of performance trial, KUMAR will check
the condition of the equipment and advise the BUYER on the

necessary maintenance if any to be carried out. BUYER shall promptly

carry out the same.

6.2.3. The plant should be operated and maintained by competent personnel

of buyer under the supervision of KUMAR’s engineers.

The following parameters will be measured during the performance trial :

6.3.1 Process guarantees:

a) Capacity
b) Oil loss

c) Chemical consumption

d) Process water consumption

6.3.2 Utility guarantees:

a) Power consumption
b) Steam consumption

c) LDO consumption
