LET'S FILL IT OUT!

Being familiar with each box of the Rental Order Form is important when assisting customers in
filling out their forms. So, it’s your turn to take a blank Rental Order Form, and fill it out—for yourself.
You are going to fill it out with your personal information. Put your store information down for your
employment (do not put your social security number on this document). Make sure you use the best
and actual information for your references.

Let’s briefly discuss what we mean by “best” information:
Good = Friends, Cousins, Neighbors WELCOME & ORIENTATION / TRAINING ROADMAP
Better = Aunt / Uncle, Sister / Brother
Best = Father, Mother, Grandparents

Review:
Hand off your completed order form to your learning coach to review it for completeness and clarity.
Your learning coach will use two steps to complete the order form with you:
Step 1 – Your learning coach will highlight any incomplete or unclear items in yellow.

Step 2 – Once the highlights are made, your learning coach will sit down with you to answer any of
the items highlighted in yellow using a red pen.

This is the same process you'll follow to complete a rental order form with the customer. It's
important that you complete this process with the customer rather than simply handing the form
back to the customer to complete. Answer the following:

How long did it take you to complete the form?

What information was missing?

Was there any “better” or “best” information that you could have used?

Why is it important to get the “best” information?

Why is filling out the order form with the customer so important?
