Commitment
To Respect
Respect is the starting line for the level of conduct we
expect everyone at RAC to display. It leads to honesty and
integrity in all of your interactions, whether it’s with your
coworkers, the delivery vehicles, the merchandise or your
customers. When you respect your store and the people
and things in it, you create success.
Speaking of success...
RAC has some serious expectations for how you achieve
success. Winning the race is the idea, but cheating
through a race is not acceptable. Not only are there legal
issues involved in unethical actions, but any short-term
gains are just that—you can never sustain long-term
success when ethics are up for grabs.
Cheaters never prosper, the saying goes, and
Rent-A-Center certainly stands behind that.
RAC has created a Code of Conduct, in case the lines
ever get fuzzy. But if it feels iffy, then it’s probably poor
conduct. Remember to read the Coworker Handbook
for more about coworker responsibilities, conduct, and
ethics. Review the Code of Conduct and Performance
Expectations with your franchisee or store manager.
