         Over-the-shoulder shot

View of the primary subject with the back of
another person’s shoulder and head in the
foreground. This type of shot is generally used
         in interviews.

         White balance

White balance is an electronic adjustment of
a camera, usually video cameras to retain the true
colours of the recorded image. The white balance
in a video camera can be activated prior to
                             recording.

White balance (WB) is important for accurate
re-production of colours in a photo. If WB
settings are not properly tuned in your digital
camera, the final shots might be slightly coloured
in hues of blue, orange or yellow.

         Chroma key
Chroma key is a video production technique that allows one image
to be superimposed over another. Special effects are commonly

produced with chroma key. When one watches news on TV, if a
meteorologist is seen to stand in front of a moving radar image ot
animated computer map, you are seeing chroma in action.

         Teleprompter

Teleprompter is a mechanical device that projects and advances
text on a mirror directly in front of camera’s lens, allowing actors,
