My son is He is under terrible pressure when exam approaches.
He feels irritated (increased yelling, crying out), racing heart
and sweating, stomach upset. He gets afraid to go to school.
Could you please advice?
It’s common that we all feel anxiety before test. Here, your child is
going through exam anxiety.
Exam stress can be caused by: fear of failure, feeling unprepared,
performance anxiety .... Help him realise that whatever the exam
result you, people around and teachers will accept him totally.
Let me share a few anxiety (stress) management techniques for your child to practise
everyday:
1. Practice Mindfulness.
2. Do yoga or any form of physical exercise.
3. Use high power poses.
4. Breathing exercises.
5. Enhance study skills.
