Sexual identity can be defined as one's
awareness towards his or her sexuality
and act in a manner that is appropriate
to it. Every individual is born with their
own gender regardless of with orwithout
intellectual disability. We, the society
always assume individuals with
intellectual disabilities are inhuman or
that they were fond of sex for which they
could control their sexuality. But have it

Intellectual disabilities in the perception
of sex education are individuals with
disabilities to comprehend the right
situation when and where their sexual
needs and desires should be express.
Just like individuals with sexual
abilities, they also have sexual needs
and desires. Unfortunately, children
with the disabilities also have the same
needs but are unable to act
appropriately to satisfy the needs.
