•  Rooming  lists  should  be  sent  in  advance  along  with  any  food  allergies,  etc  (see
                       Appendix 5).
                   •  Arrange for local transport (if not available through local organiser)
                   •  Familiarise yourself and understand the tournament rules
               .

               6.2  At The Venue

               On arrival at hotel, manager should:

                   •  Check players into their rooms.   Ensure rooms are in most suitable locations.  Brief
                       players on evacuation procedures, alarms.
                   •  Look for any damage before they unpack so they don’t get charged for damages.
                   •  Arrange with hotel meal times and ensure appropriate food / drink is available.
                   •  Arrange with hotel a meeting room for team meetings if not pre booked – check
                       charges
                   •  Ensure hotel rooms are “dry” and that there is an embargo / disablement on pay for
                       view sports / movie channels
                   •  Arrange transport times with tournament organisers
                   •  Enquire where notice boards are located and check carefully the day to day notices.
                   •  Attend Tournament Director’s meeting, have ready the following information
                          o  Team list and squad numbers
                          o  Squad colours and reserve colours
                          o  Sticks and goalkeepers equipment
                          o  Clarify who can sit on the bench
                          o  Clarify if there will be a doctor present or on call at all times
                          o  Team Passports
                          o  Check if doping control will be present
                          o  Any other queries arising from the tournament rules
                   •  Ensure players get sufficient rest
                   •  If necessary get kit cleaned
                   •  Make sure players are appropriately dressed at all times
                   •  Arrange for team photo prior to first game



               6.3  Before departure from accommodation for pitch/matches

                   •  Ensure/remind all players to have all kit, sticks, mouth guards, supplements, physio
                       bed and other staff equipment.
                   •  Allocate responsibility for transportation of balls, cones.
                   •  Confirm changing room location, toilets, ice baths, water, etc.
                   •  Bring Passports and EHIC Cards, TUE forms.
                   •  Bring snacks & jellies, ice towels.
                   •  Make  sure that  all  financial  matters  of  your  team  are  settled  before  you  leave  the
                       venue.

               6.4 Post Tournament

                   •  Complete financial transactions, submit any unused cash, return credit cards if used,
                       claim any overspend etc.
                   •  Write to thank players and management team and others who were involved in the
                       build-up or the tournament
