This presentation will be divided into three parts. Part
1 will focus on Olympic Team Handball, and Ultimate
Frisbee. Part two will focus on lifelong individual sports
including, Archery, Bocce Ball and Weight Training.
Part 3 will focus on Swimming Instruction. This

The Picture Exchange Communication System
(PECS) allows for students with little or no
communication the ability to communicate via
symbols. Participants are given an overview of the
Picture Exchange system, will learn the Phases of PECS and will provide
Communication System SPED hands on training using the system. Presentation by Karen

An in-depth look at our California State Standards for
Physical Education and how we can meet some of
these standards with non-traditional games and
or/activities. You will be taught the rules to nine
Standard based non-traditional games. (Ex: Tchoukball, Cricket and
non-traditional games Spike ball) Each game will be broken down into
and Activities for lessons that you can use with your classes. These
Elementary PE students lessons will include standards that will be met, skill
