REPOSITION OF ISLAMIC PARENTING IN RESPONDING TO THE
CHALLENGES OF THE SOCIAL REVOLUTION 5.0

Abstrak: The scope of this study includes the concept of Islamic Parenting,
namely parenting in Islam based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, in responding to the
challenges of the 5.0 social revolution. As a form of social transformation
towards the development of information and technology the industrial
revolution 4.0. The purpose of this study is to become one of the solutions in
answering the problems of education in this era. Parents in this era have the
obligation to prepare to face changes in the attitudes and behavior of children
who are part of the millennial generation. This millennial generation is no
longer a stranger to the digital world and is used to receiving information and
technology. Social behaviors that emerged from this generation include gadget
addiction, cyber bullying, hate speech, hoaxes, hedon, conformity, bandwagon
effect, and moral degradation. Indonesian now is currently starting to deplete the
morals of every child and young generation. Parenting in Islam can be one
solution, namely by presenting or re-internalizing the concepts of Islamic
parenting in the family. Remembering in childhood is very important for
character building. Children are in the golden age. The success of nurturing at
this golden age is a benchmark for determining the golden generation with noble
character. It is hoped that this study will make a real contribution to Muslim
families in particular and the world of Islamic education in general. Kata Kunci:
