Abstrak: The purpose of this discussion is to find out how the form of planning,
implementation, organization and evaluation of Life Skills Insight Vocational
Program Management at MAN 1 Payakumbuh. This type of research is
qualitative research. The data used are data obtained through observation,
interviews and documentation. Data processing is carried out in a qualitative
descriptive manner, then described and classified and presented through
effective sentences. Data collection techniques used are: Observation, Interview
and Documentation Methods. Data analysis techniques using descriptive
techniques with procedures; (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3)
drawing conclusions. The data validity test technique used in the study used
triangulation techniques through observation, interviews and documentation,
then combining various data collection techniques and data sources. The results
of this study revealed that the planning of vocational programs at MAN 1
Payakumbuh by incorporating the values of life skills skills into the syllabus or
lesson plans for each subject. Some of the implementation of vocational
programs at MAN 1 Payakumbuh, including: 1. Implementation of the welding
technique program 2. Implementation of the fashion program 3. Implementation
of the oyster mushroom cultivation program, then the last stage is the evaluation
of the implementation of the vocational program at MAN 1 Payakumbuh which
was carried out by: 1 2. Evaluation by the vocational program evaluator team
formed by the school principal 2. Evaluation of the Implementation of the
Learning Process is carried out by the Principal and Supervisors in each
Education Unit.
