Abstrak: This paper aims to study the efforts of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and
Muhammadiyah in managing moderate religious information through the
website. Nowadays, people's need for information is very high. APJII's 2022
survey reported that 92.21% of people use the internet to search for information,
but not all media can provide authoritative and moderate information amidst the
issue of shifting religious authority. This paper focuses on answering the
question of how do Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah manage moderate
religious information on their websites? This study was conducted with a
qualitative type of research using a netnography approach in which the
researcher conducted observations of websites and in-depth interviews with
website managers. The findings of this study indicate that NU and
Muhammadiyah attempt to preserve their respective traditions through websites
by emphasizing religious moderation amid the emergence of new incompetent
individuals and groups. To keep religious information moderate in the digital
sphere, both organizations did several things. There are differences between NU
and Muhammadiyah in managing religious information on the website. NU
works in the realm of strengthening discourse by providing adequate religious
information through the wealth of religious thoughts of its pesantren, and
Muhammadiyah works in the practical realm through information on business
charities. Both of them become the power of religious moderation in Indonesia.
It can be concluded that for religious information to remain moderate and
authoritative in the digital space, it is necessary to have good information
management by religious groups that have been culturally and socially
                 recognized in society.

Kata Kunci: Digital Sphere, Religious Moderate Information, NU,
                 Muhammadiyah.
