Chapter 6 Undercarriage
Undercarriage In-Ground Placement
Typically placed in a trench cut into the floor even though it can be secured on the surface of the
floor.
Mounting the Undercarriage in a Trench
If mounting the undercarriage inside a trench, be sure that there is adequate room for the fittings and
pipe on each end. You will also need to have the elbow angled up a little to allow room to clamp the
hose.
Note: Be sure that the water hose does not stick up to far where it becomes a tripping hazard or a potential
catch point!
Mounting the Undercarriage on the Surface
If mounting on a flat surface, the mounting tabs will have to be bent to the floor so the undercarriage
manifold can be lagged.
