INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
Chapter 9 Optional “Add-On” Items
HydroBlade® Rinse Quick-Dump Assembly
Overview
The HydroBlade® Quick-Dump option will allow the upper portion of the spray tubes to drain
much faster and allow you to switch between different chemical applications (sealer wax, drying
agent, etc.) and not cost you any extra cycle time.
If you also have the FressStyler® On-Board Dryer option, then the HydroBlade® Quick-Dump is
st
highly recommended. It will drain the spray tubes before you begin to run the 1 dryer pass. If
you did not have this option you would have to wait for the tubes to completely empty before
st
making the 1 dryer pass so that the water is not draining on to the vehicle.
Installation
1. Locate the accessory box that it shipped in and verify that there are 2
Quick-Dump Assemblies in the box.
2. On the exit side of both wheel cleaner covers there is a 1-3/8” hole
that is approximately 51” from the top of the cover. Look inside of the
hole on the plastic and remove the 1/4” brass plug that is in the flow
drilled hole in the spray tube.

tightened.

4. Verify when you run your first test wash that water does not come out of the drain hole while the
HydroBlade® is in operation. Once the HydroBlade® operation is complete it may take a second or two for
the water to begin to drain out.
