PIVOTING WHEEL STINGER Signature Series

            Operation

After the initial startup, verify that none of the nozzles are clogged. If any of them are, remove them,
clean out the obstruction and replace them.
Begin by setting the main air regulator at 80PSI on the Air Panel.

            Adjusting the Proximity Targets

               Three Points of Adjustment
                       • Cylinder engagement through setting of Proximity Target
                       • Rate of application swing by adjusting Hydraulic Flow Control
                       • Rate of return swing by adjusting Pneumatic Flow Control

Depending on desired performance, the controls will have their own effect on the operation with their adjustment.
                   1) Cylinder Engagement through Setting of Proximity Target.
Since the “intitial” position has the arms at approximately 17° towards the entrance of the wash, gravity supplies the force
needed to start the arms movement. As the arms approach their vertical (straight up and down) position, the force of
gravity diminishes before this force has completely diminished, the hydraulic cylinder engages. The power of the cylinder
moves the arms to appromately 17° towards the exit of the wash to complete the swing.

The return swing is initiated by the second target shown below. These images show the effect of repositioning the target.
