Installation

Neon Strip Kit Installation and Electrical Connections
Before mounting the bottom sections of the aluminum extrusions, make sure that
both the driver side and the passenger side neon strips are pushed all the way into
the front cover (plastic pendant) as far as they can go. Assuming you have snapped
the strips across the headbeam and around the corners to the legs. Once again
make sure that the bend radius around the corners are smooth and not tight. Finish
snapping the strips down through the longer aluminum extrusions on the legs. This is
the point where you will determine the location of the bottom pieces of aluminum
extrusions. This is necessary because depending on which pendant was purchased,
the neon strip end location will vary.
There are four pre-drilled holes for the bottom aluminum extrusions. In a situation
where only one of the pre-drilled holes is used, you will need to drill your own second
hole for each side.
See the examples below to determine the proper mounting method for your
purchase. This will require an 1/8” drill bit and the supplied self-tapping screws.
The bottom aluminum extrusions can be mounted in 7 different position. The first 6
th
positions will utilize holes that have been pre-drilled at the factory. The 7 is for a
scenario whereas the neon strips extend beyond the hole patterns. It will be covered
on the next page.
All positions will vary from site-to-site.

As stated before, the 7 configuration is for a scenario whereas the neon strips extend beyond the
hole patterns. See the image below for details.
