Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Frame Assembly (All Styles)
Optional Rail Heat, Rubber Heat Strip and Enclosure Installation
If your system has the Optional Rail Heat Package, for ease in assembly now is the time to run
the Tape Strips down the rails. Completeing of the installation of this option will be covered later in
this chapter.
Thiings to Know about the Belanger Rail Heat System
· Field supplied 120VAC GFCI Protected Circuit required
· 1200 Watts total system (both rails)
· Each Silicon Rubber Strip is 600 Watts
· Thermostat turns on the Rail Heat at 40° Fahrenheit and turns off at 55° Fahrenheit
Only use Silicon Rubber Heat Strips in a complete system installed as
instructed in this document. Contact the factory if installation
instructions are missing, incomplete or not understood.
1) Locate the two Rubber Heat Strips.
2) Using a “Fish Tape”, insert them into the rails from the entrance or exit end as shown below. The lead wires
are to hang out of the end of the rails to be connected later. The wires are to hang from the end that the
electrical enclosure will be mounted.
Note: Be sure to use caution during the frame assembly making
sure not to pinch or damage the lead wires.
