Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Frame Assembly (All Styles)

Securing the Clamps to the Rails
1) Locate the four pre-assembled corner clamps. Use the images below to identify their proper position.

2) Locate the following fasteners. Eights sets of each.
Flat Washers: 1/2”

Bolt: 1/2-13 x 5” Nylock Nut: 1/2-13

3) Secure the clamps to the appropriate rail-end as shown below. Each clamp has four main bolts and two thru-
bolts that go through the rails.
