Torque Plate and Electric Motor Replacement

Reinstall Motor Gearbox Assembly
1) Secure the Plastic Cover to the Gearbox, by reinstalling the Cover Plate and tightening the
fasteners into position as show below.

Fasteners: 1/4"-20 X3/4
& 1/4" Locking Washer

2) Place the Gearbox Assembly back onto the Drive Shaft using the keyway of the Motor to line
it up with the Key in the Drive Shaft.

 Once the Key and Keyway are aligned, slide the Gearbox onto the Torque Bolts to its
resting position.
3) To secure the Gearbox, locate and install the Washers and new zinc Cotter Pins.

Step 3:
Slide the Motor and
Cover Asy over the
Drive Shaft & Torque
Studs. Secure with
Flat Washers and
Cotter Pins.

4) Apply Anti-Seize™ to the threads on the Drive Shaft. Thread the Jam Nut onto the end of
the Drive Shaft.

Step 4:
Apply Anti-Seize™ then thread
the Jam Nut onto the Drive Shaft.
