Torque Plate and Electric Motor Replacement

Remove Motor Gearbox Assembly
12) Disconnect the electrical connection between the Slip Ring and Hub LED Cable.

LED Cable Step 12:

Receptor Disconnect the electrical
connection.

Step 13:
Remove the Jam Nut from
the Drive Shaft.

Slip Ring Plug
13) Unthread the Jam Nut from the Drive Shaft, shown above.
14) Remove the Torque Stud Retainer Pins and Washers from above the Gearbox Torque Plate
mounting holes allowing the Motor Gearbox to be removed.

Step 14 & 15:
Remove the Flat
Washers and Cotter
Pins. Slide the Motor
and Cover Asy
straight off of the
Drive Shaft & Torque
Studs.

Installed on Right

15) Pull the Motor Gearbox and Cover Assembly straight off of the Torque Studs and Drive
Shaft.
16) Move the Motor Gearbox Assembly to a work surface and turn it over to expose the bottom
Cover and the Cover Mounting Plate if so equipped.

Note: You will need a work surface such as a table or a bench available to allow for disassembly
of the Gearbox Torque Plate.
