Installation

Optional Hand-Spray Chemical Applicator

The Hand-Spray chemical system is an applicator that has been designed to operate in conjunction with a MixStir® chemical mixing
tank.
The hand-spray applicator utilizes a trigger-jet style hand spray gun, with an adjustable cone-jet spray nozzle. Designed for comfort and
ease of operation, the hand-spray applicator provides easy fingertip control to adjust spray pattern, capacity (GPM), spray angle and
coverage. Each trigger-jet hand spray gun is assembled with a 20-ft length of coiled 1/4-inch line. The aluminum mounting plate has
been designed to mount either a single hand spray gun, or a pair of hand spray guns.
A MixStir® chemical mixing tank with a basic delivery panel will provide the method of delivering solution to the hand-spray gun. The
Hand-Spray chemical system is capable of being setup as either an on-demand feature or as part of a car wash package, and is ideal
for, but not limited to vehicle prep applications such as tire dressing and bug spray applications.
The Hand-Spray chemical system is available with Blue or Red coiled hose and a matching MixStir® chemical mixing tank. The basic
system consists of a pair of mounting plates, containing a single hand spray gun on each plate, and includes a corresponding MixStir®
tank (HHS-BLU or HHS-RED). A combination system is also available, which includes a pair of mounting plates, containing one blue and
one red hand spray gun on each plate, and includes one blue and one red MixStir® chemical mixing tank. The combination of utilizing
two MixStirs® provides both a practical and cost-effective method for multiple hand-applied chemical applications.

Single Spray Unit Dual Spray Unit

1) Secure the two wall plates to the wall in the appropriate location.
2) Run a chemical line from the “OUT” port of the MixStir® pump to a field supplied tee above
the wash and route to the two fittings as shown below. Refer to the “Startup” section in this
document for priming information.
