Spot Free (RO)
Pressure Pump
The booster pump is designed to increase tap water flow to a pressure sufficient to force water through the reverse
osmosis membrane. See picture below. To start the pump, flip the power switch to the ON position on side panel of
unit. No adjustments are needed on the pump. All pressure adjustments are made using the needle and gate valves
located on the solenoid valve assembly. For complete information on the pressure booster pump, please refer to the
enclosed manufacturer’s technical sheets.

Pressure Switch
The pressure switch is a safety device that protects the booster pump from water starvation. It will automatically turn
the pump off when water pressure drops below 3 PSI and restarts the pump when water pressure returns to at least
7 PSI. It is located near the bottom of the inlet solenoid valve. See the picture below.
