Project Browser
Project Browser turn on/off via checkmarks on tab:
View ► Windows ► User Interface
The project Browser is an Explorer/pathfinder for the project. Project Browser provides an
overview of the overall project and its content of objects, groups, the 3D model in different views
(Views) and the view that is active. The active view is shown in bold in the Project Browser. A
view is made active by double-clicking the desired view or by right clicking on it and selecting
Open.
Floor Plans includes views of the floor levels.
Ceiling Plans are views at floor level, and
looking up at the ceiling.
3D Views contain all three-dimensional views
of the model.
Elevations (Building Elevation) are
facades/elevations of the building.
Drafting Views are used to create
unassociated, view-specific details that are not
part of the modeled design.
Legends are lists of of the building
components and anotations used in a project.
Schedules/Quantities contains the schematic
views of the model and quantity extraction.
Sheets containing drawings to plot.
Families are components you use to build your
model.
Groups shows the groups that exist in the
project.
Revit Links contains a list of the links that are
in the project.
