          Properties



          Instance Properties

          When an object is selected, Properties
          displays selected object's properties.
          Type Selector is displayed at the top and is
          used to change the type of the selected
          element.
          The properties are displayed as a palette that
          can "attach" to the screen edge, or that can be
          placed on a secondary monitor.

          Properties provides the ability to customize
          the object's properties, such as individual
          Wall's height on each wall of the same type.
          The properties shown here are known as
          Instance properties.





          Type Properties

          The type of an object, for example, the
          selected wall type and settings.

          The dialog box on the right shows properties
          for T-piece type for a round channel.

          Type properties are obtained by selecting
          Edit Type in properties. Thaey can also be
          activated via the Modify tab.
          Modify ► Properties ► Type Properties
          It is also here that you can make a new type
          by choosing Duplicate and give it a new
          descriptive name.
          Adjust parameters to fit as needed.


           NOTE:

           Name with an appropriate name, so co-workers can also use the object.
