Building a Database

The very beginning of your business will start with building a database. On the next page you

will find 99 Ways to Build a Database. You may not have someone who will fit into every cate-
gory, but remember, this is just a start.

Step one: Start with an empty Excel Document

Step two: Follow the mapping below - this will assist you in the importing process

Step three: Once you complete a database, save the Excel document as a .CSV file

How to convert your excel to a .CSV file

1. Open MS Excel

2. Select “File” in the top left corner

3. Select “Save As”

4. Select from the drop down menu “CSV (Comma

delimited) (*.CSV)”
