“survival situation” can mean different things to different
people. For some, it might mean dealing with some kind
of apocalyptic or natural disaster. For others, it means just
struggling to keep a roof over their families’ heads and
food on the table on a daily basis.
However you define “survival situation,” there are two common factors
everyone shares: the need to eat and the desire to eat good food.
