c. Promotions (through Internal Job Postings) and
d. Re-employment of ex-employees - Re-employment of ex-employees is one of the internal sources of
recruitment in which employees can be invited and appointed to fill vacancies in the concern. There are
situations when ex-employees provide unsolicited applications also. The Re – Employment strictly depends
on the past experiences of the Company with the Ex- Employee.
Internal recruitment at National Paints is aimed at increasing the employee’s productivity as their motivation level
increases.
To be eligible to apply for a posted job, an individual must be current, regular full-time employee and has completed
the probation period. Employees who wish to qualify must have performed proficiently for at least 90 calendar days
in their current designation. Eligible employees can only apply for those posted jobs for which they possess the
required skills, competencies, and qualifications. Employees who have a written warning on file, or are on probation
or suspension are not eligible to apply for posted jobs.
To apply for an open position, employees should fill an internal job application form to be submitted to their respective
supervisors for approval prior to submitting the application to the Human Resource department. Internal candidates
who qualify for the vacancy would then undergo an initial interview with the Supervisor of the vacancy an employee
is applying for. Finalist would then have another round of interview with the HR Department to determine the final
decision for hiring. The selected employee would then be notified by the Supervisor of the vacancy. Candidates who
did not qualify will then be provided feedback and development plan for future advancement and development.
National Paints recognizes the benefit of developmental experiences and encourages employees to discuss career plans
with their respective Supervisor. Supervisors should then provide encouragement and support employees' efforts to
gain experience and advance within the organization.
