camp connect at epworth by the sea
amp Connect is a ministry of the South Georgia
CConference at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simon’s
Island. Camp Connect creates meaningful camp rocking with kindess
experiences by engaging campers in a week of fun,
new friendships, and encountering Christ in and sunday, March 29th
around us. Campers enjoy outdoor acti viti es such as 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Bailey hall
boat rides, dock fi shing, games, art, beach trips and e are Rocking our way into a new ministry as
pool ti me. Nightly camp-wide competi ti ons bring Wwe focus on sharing the Good News of Jesus
everyone together and each evening closes with a with the community! Kindness Rocks are a creati ve
worship service. Parents can register students at: way to share a message of encouragement. On
campconnectumc.org Sunday, March 29th we will "kick-off " the ministry
with a painti ng party; all supplies will be on hand
high schooL caMP to paint rocks with uplift ing messages. Once done,
(rising 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th graders) they will be scatt ered around Skidaway Island and
June 8 – 12, 2020 the surrounding community for others to fi nd. We
need volunteers of ALL AGES to come and create.

hree mile casual walk from the back
Tchurch parking lot to the State Park, Registrati on for both camps opens March 2nd
along the Sandpiper Trail Loop and back Registrati on forms can be found online
to the church. The walk will include a brief and emailed to camps@siumc.org.
