College Chapters
Together Women Rise is the chosen international nonprofit
of the Chi-Omega sorority at Furman University in
Greenville, SC. All the chapter members are members of
the sorority and students at Furman. In addition to meeting, they
also hold fundraisers in support of Together Women Rise.
Since 2015, Together Women Rise has been an important part Furman University Chapter
of the curriculum for nursing students at Anna Maria College
in Paxton, MA. Students studying community health meet monthly
and are required to do a presentation on that month’s country and featured
project. Chapter leader and teacher Karin Ciance says the Together Women Rise learning
materials align very well with the students’ curriculum.
