Introduction to Teaching
EDU 201 is a dual credit course that prepares students
for employment in the field of education. The program
provides students with opportunities to explore cutting-
edge instructional technology while also learning about the
foundations of education and teaching. Topics covered include
human growth and development, planning and instruction,
collaboration, and career pathways. Participation in the CTE
student organization Educators Rising further enhances the
learning experience.

Introduction to Teaching I covers the foundations of education
and teaching, with special emphasis placed on instructional
technology. Introduction to Teaching I is available for those Elementary School Teachers Except Special Edu $54,100
who do not qualify for or do not wish to take dual credit. Middle School Teachers Except Special Education $54,000

EDU 241 prepares students for employment and postsecondary Education Administrators, Postsecondary $93,400

experiences. Students will be placed at a school based on Law Teachers, Postsecondary $173,900
their individual interests and goals (i.e., elementary, coaching,
secondary, etc.) This will provide students with practical, first-
hand experience in education.
