consider legitimate the noble and initiatory inheritance of Pierre Plantard de Saint-Clair, as we
think that in addition to being linked to Merovingian ancestors, it was at the same time one of
their descendants to have simultaneously inherited the Scepter of Sion.
IN: Finally, it has really been made clear, at least to such an extent, to be able to understand
the full meaning of this so controversial aspect of your tradition so far.
Grand Master, Can I conclude by asking you how do you see the present and imagine the
future of the Priory of Sion?
The Priory of Sion, like every living tradition, fits the times and the people of the age in
question and today there is a new way to be members of the Priory of Sion, compared to what
could be in other periods of history. Today many things are changing, and a different approach
is required, for these reasons, the Priory of Sion, in addition to the already existing Initiatic
Order, has established a more external circle for Magistrale Decree, dedicated to our
catechism, where anyone is of good will can be accepted, study our knowledge and form, with
our authorization, groups of study and aggregation.
On the other hand, acceptance to the initiatory Order remains very exclusive and strictly
selective. Still talking about the future of the Priory of Sion, we can not forget the contribution
of many researchers, scholars, archaeologists and academics of different kinds, looking for the
mystery of Rennes le Château, deeply linked to the history of our Order and significant
witness in some periods of our doctrine. I think that the next step, the next evolution in this
research, will not be to become more and more precise in identifying where the body of Jesus
Christ may have been physically buried, because we already know that he is buried or at least
buried in rather, that area, the true evolution of research, will be the entry into the spiritual
path that it is indicating, and the contribution that comes from the diffusion of the new
historical elements, which may thus also indicate to the layman the testimony of the doctrine
that we shared. So the research is not finished, but it has just begun, even for those who think
that now everything has been discovered on Rennes le Château, which, by the way, is far from
being true. This is the modern dawn of a new spiritual movement, which originated from an
ancient initiatory Order, gives life to something new and parallel, to which anyone can
participate.
IN: Thank you, Grand Master, on behalf of the editorial staff and the audience that follows us.
GM: I thank the editors and all those who have read us, in this interview, giving us the way to
express our testimony today.
