LIGHT HORSE HARRY LEE CAMP (Old Dominion #364, Les Albers, Secretary Emeritus). On
November 5, 2022, Light Horse Harry Lee Camp, Heroes of ’76 provided a color guard for hundreds of
attendees at the annual “Willing Warrior” Gala event at the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA. Hero Bill
Sanner (Federal Area Representative and Past National Secretary/Treasurer) wearing dress Continental
uniform, delivered the “Toast to the Flag” and then led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. Hero Aaron
Irvin, Chapter President, in a hunting frock, carried Old Glory and presented it to the attendees during the
Pledge, Toast and National Anthem, which was sung acapella by a vocalist. Heroes Barry Bartley (Camp
Commander) and Les Albers (Adjutant) served as musketeers. Brother Barry, following the invocation,
delivered a meaningful rendition of the “Missing Man Table” ceremony. Brother Irvin has diligently
cultivated a positive relationship between Old Dominion Chapter and the Willing Warrior project. This
organization “Provides cost-free retreat stays and programs that positively impact wounded, injured, and ill
service members and disabled Veterans.” Brother Irvin spearheads the chapter’s efforts to support this
essential and patriotic service.

2022 three members of Light Horse Harry Lee Camp
delivered the Historical Flag Ceremony to over 150
attendees at the annual luncheon of the Alexandria
Retired Police, Fire & Sheriff Association held at
American Legion Post 176, Springfield, VA. Hero Barry
Bartley (Camp Commander), introduced the participants
and provided a superb narration for the ceremony. Heroes
Peter Cutler and Les Albers, sporting Continental Army
dress uniforms, displayed the 16 flags. Hero Les Albers
(Adjutant) delivered a flawless Toast to the Flag. Brother
Bartley presented the Patriot of ‘76 Certificate to
President Jeremy Lenzner who expressed the appreciation
