CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cypress Bend Resort will reserve guestroom and event/ banquet space according to the terms in
the contract. Should your event cancel; a cancelation fee will be assed according to the following
schedule.
Should it become necessary to cancel or substantially reduce your contracted function the Hotel
will be entitled to liquidate damages based on the scale provided in your contract.

If notice of cancellation is received in advance of the scheduled event, the deposit will be forfeited
plus a cancellation charge as follows:
On day contract is signed to 120 days ------------ Forfeiture of deposit only
120 days – 91 days ------------ Deposit plus 25% of contracted revenue
90 days to 31 days ------------ Deposit plus 50% of contracted revenue
30 days to 0 days ------------ Deposit plus full contracted revenue

FUNCTION LIABILITY:
Charges for damage to the premises by any guest, invitee, or other persons attending a function
will be charged to the persons responsible for hosting the event. Cypress Bend Resort will not
assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or materials. In order to prevent
damages to the facility, fixtures and furnishings management will not permit any items to be
affixed to the walls, floors or ceilings with nails, tape, staples or any other means without prior
approval. It is required that all décor be removed from the banquet facility at the end of contracted
event.

SECURITY AND LIABILITY:
Cypress Bend Resort is not responsible for the loss or damage to any items left on property before,
during or after your event. Liability for damages to the hotel property by you or your guests will be
charged accordingly. Cypress Bend will obtain a minimum of two licensed uniformed security
personnel for scheduled event. Cypress Bend Resort reserves the right to remove any disorderly or
disruptive person(s) from the property. Security fees will be transferred directly to the event master
bill.

VENUE RENTAL:
A dance floor rental of $300.00 is available for use in the Cypress Grand Ballroom.
