BW - 72 Body - Inner and outer trims

Change
1. Remove the left and right front threshold pressing
strips

a. Open the door and remove the door seal on the threshold
pressing strip section.

b. Remove the threshold pressing strip mounting screw
block covers.
c. Remove the shreshold pressing strip mounting screws,
and remove the left and right front door threshold pressing
strips.

2. Remove the carpet assembly
a. Remove the driver seat. (refer to Chapter BW body- seat– driver seat, replacement)
b. Remove the co-driver seat. (refer to Chapter BW body- seat– assistant seat, replacement)

c. Remove the lower seatbelt mounting bolt. (refer to Chapter BW body- safety belt– driver/assistant seat belt,
replacement)
d. Remove B pillar lower guard. (refer to Chapter BW body- windshield, window glass- interior & exterior
trim –side wall inner shield, replacement)
e. Remove the glove box assembly and deputy dashboard. (refer to Chapter BW body- instrument panel,
combination instrument, ashtray- auxiliary instrument, replacement)

f. Remove the transmission operation mechanism assembly (refer to Chapter TR transmission and controlling
mechanism-manual transmission-transmission assembly-transmission controlling mechanism, replacement)
g. Remove the steering column. (refer to Chapter ST steering system- steering gear–steering columns,
replacement)

h. Remove steering shaft cover mounting screw and plastic
expansion screw and remove the steering shaft cover.

i. Remove the electronic accelerator pedal and pedal surface
assembly mounting bolt, and remove the electronic
accelerator pedal and pedal surface assembly.
