Body controller

1. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
EG 2. Remove the right trim assembly from the instrument panel (refer to “Chapter BW Vehicle Body-
Instrument Panel, Combination Instrument, Ashtray - Instrument panel, Replacement”)
TR 3. Removing the vehicle body controller
a. Disconnect the plug & socket connector of the vehicle
body controller.

b. Remove the vehicle body controller in the direction of the

arrow.

4. Check the vehicle body controller if following failures are present. If yes, repair or adjust or replace
vehicle body controller.
a. The vehicle body controller is broken.
b. The pins of the vehicle body controller connector are bent.
c. The pins of the vehicle body controller connector are corroded.
d. Open circuit occurs inside the vehicle body controller.
e. Program failure occurs in the vehicle body controller.
5. Installing the vehicle body controller
a. Install the vehicle body controller into place.
