Cooling System
Cooling System
Overview
1. The use range of the cooling system is to ensure the continuous work of the engine at a suitable
temperature, and the too high temperature and too low temperature have adverse effects on the engine.
2. The purpose of the adjustment and maintenance of the cooling system is to ensure that the engine is
in the appropriate operating temperature range.
3. Cooling system includes radiator, water pump, fan and thermostat.
4. The radiator is a pressure water tank, which distributes the heat of the coolant to the atmosphere.
5. Thermostat controls the temperature of the engine coolant. When the coolant temperature is lower
than the operating temperature of the engine, the engine coolant flows back to the pump inlet by bypass,
allowing the coolant temperature to reach the operating temperature of the engine rapidly. When the
coolant temperature of the engine reaches the operating temperature, the thermostat opens and the
bypass is closed, the engine coolant is forced to flow into the radiator, so that the coolant temperature
declines rapidly to the operating temperature.
6. The water pump is driven by the belt pulley of the crankshaft and the fan belt. In use, when the water
seal is damaged and the dripping is serious, the water seal shall be replaced. The drainage opening
cannot be blocked in leakage, otherwise, water will enter the bearing, so that the bearing will be worn
quickly. If the bearing has abnormal noise in the operation, it shall be replaced.
7. There is suction type plastic fan and the fan belt shall meet "technical maintenance" requirements.
Regularly check the tension degree and adjust.
