1. Drain the engine oil. DI

a. Open the engine oil filler port cover

b. Disassemble the drain plug of the oil sump tank and drain FR
engine oil.
Caution
ST
• Engine oil temperature is very high, be careful not to
be burned.
• Repeated exposure to used oil over long periods of time BR
may result in skin cancer; therefore, it is necessary to
avoid direct contact of waste oil with the skin. In the BW
event of contact, wash thoroughly with soap or detergent
as soon as possible.
• Collect the waste oil to the specified container and EL
dispose of it as required.

c. Install the drain plug screw of the oil sump tank after the
drainage.
Torque: 58~75N•m

2. Fill engine oil
a. Open the engine oil filler port cover

b. Add engine oil according to the dipstick scale.

c. Park the vehicle on the level ground and start the engine
to the hot car. Also check for oil leakage around the drain
bolt and oil filter.
d. Shut down the engine and wait in 10 minutes.
e. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean.

f. Insert the oil dipstick and confirm that the engine oil level
is within the scale range of the oil dipstick.
