TR-52                 Transmission and Control Mechanism - Manual Transmission

              Breakdown and assemble
              1. Discharge the transmission oil
              2. Put the transmission assembly on the disassembly table or in a clean place and put the transmission
              into neutral

              3.  Remove  the  clutch  housing  assembly  (see  "Chapter  TR  Transmission  and  Control  Mechanism  -
              Clutch - Clutch housing, Replacement")
                                                          4. Remove the rear bearing cover of transmission

                                                          a.  Remove  the  fixing  nut  of  transmission  output  flange
                                                          and remove the sealing ring and flange.
                                                                                  Caution

                                                          The  fixing  nut  of  flange  is  a  one-time  pieces,  which
                                                          must be replaced after removal.





                                                          b. Remove the  fixing bolts  of transmission rear bearing
                                                          cover,  remove  the  transmission  rear  bearing  cover,  and
                                                          check oil seal for damage and replace if damaged.










                                                          c. Remove the drive gear of transmission odometer and
                                                          check for damage.













                                                          d. Disassemble the driven gear of transmission odometer.
                                                                                  Caution
                                                          Check whether the odometer driven gear for oil leak
                                                          and, if there is a leak, replace the internal oil seal of
                                                          odometer driven gear.
