e. Remove the second shaft assembly.
Caution

Use wire or cord to remove the second shaft assembly.

f. Remove the fixing bolts of reverse gear shield and
remove reverse gear shield.

g. Remove the fixing bolt of reverse idler shaft card and
remove the fixing card of reverse idler shaft.

h. Remove the reverse idler shaft and remove the reverse
gear.
Caution

Removal of the reverse idler shaft can be done with
hammer tool or gently punch out from the interior of
the transmission.
