i. Remove the circlip of intermediate shaft rear bearing

and move the intermediate shaft backwards gently to
clear the intermediate shaft back bearing out of the DI
housing.

j. Use a puller to remove the intermediate shaft rear
bearing

k. Tilt and take out the intermediate shaft.

l. Remove the fixing bolts of oil deflector on the bottom
of the transmission housing and remove the oil deflector.
Warning

In order to avoid excessive wear and tear of some
gears caused by not completely lubricated due to
prolonged tilt of the vehicle, the oil deflector is
designed to slow down the gear oil flowing.

Caution
Normal maintenance of the transmission without
removing the oil deflector.
