TR-58 Transmission and Control Mechanism - Manual Transmission

i. Install the first shaft assembly.
Caution

Install a circlip onto the 1st shaft bearing before
installing the 1st shaft assembly.

j. Install the paper pad of 1st shaft and apply sealant.
k. Install the 1st shaft assembly cover and fixing bolts
and tighten them.
Torque: 33~42N•m
Caution

• Pay attention to the direction of the 1st shaft
cover with the oil return hole aligned downwards
• Clean the paper pad and sealant before installation.

8. Install the transmission cover assembly

a. Dismount the fixing bolts of transmission cover and
take off the assembly of transmission cover
Caution

Apply sealant evenly to the transmission cover contact
surface.

9. Install the rear bearing cover of transmission

a. Install the driven gear of transmission odometer.
Torque: 34~39N•m
Caution

Make sure the odometer driven gear does not leak oil.
