62-88 DIAGNOSIS-REVERSING RADAR

Diagnosis Procedure
• Ignition switch:"ON".
• Connect the diagnoser and read TCU fault code.
• Whether there is any reversing lamp relay fault code.
• If any, diangose the reversing lamp relay according to the fault code; if none, perform
following checks.

1. Check The Fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Open interior fuse box cover.
(c). Take out backup lamp fuse.F31(7.5A).

(d). Check the fuse of backup lamp in fuse box
within house: F31(7.5A).
Disconnect Normal

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace the fuse.

2. Check the harness and the connector( Back light relay - rear bumper wiring harness)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the backup lamp relay R02。
(c). Disconnect the bumper harness connector N201.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
R02(5) - N201(3) ＜ 2Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >Replace the fuse.
