DIAGNOSIS-REVERSING RADAR 62-89

3. Check the harness and the connector ( body controller- the reversing radar sensor)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the connector C57 of the body controller.
(c). Disconnect the reversing radar sensor connectors N01 left.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.

Standard resistance: (check whether there

Connect the pin by
Ω multimeter Standard value
C57(D31) - N01(1) ＜ 2Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Replace the fuse.

4. Check the harness and the connector (rear bumper beam-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the rear bumper harness connector N201.

(c). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
N201(2) - grounding ＜ 2Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace the body controller.
No >Repair or replace the harness.
